Wet gas gathering often requires pigging, a LOT of pigging. Some gathering companies run tens of thousands of pigs every year. Blowing down the traps at least twice for every pig - once to launch, and once to receive. This adds up to a lot of gas, and a lot of emissions. Add VOCs like propane and butane into the mix, and the headaches multiply.
Enter TPE's patent pending ZEVAC technology on a mobile platform. By using a mobile ZEVAC, the pigging crews can ZEVAC the gas out of the launcher or receiver back into the pipeline before they open the trap closure. This eliminates the need for thousands of high pressure wet gas trap blowdowns each year. Keep up the good work guys!
